Hawkeye community college are here this morning to assist with registering students for this fall.
Students, if you are scheduled for a Hawkeye class in the fall, please come to Room 118 after attendance is taken and announcements are read.


Mid-Term 6 grade is posted:  Students, mid-term grades were posted for Term 6.

Please check your grades on the Infinite Campus Portal.  No grade cards will be

issued at this time.


Go The Distance Day Info.:  On Friday, May 6, we will participate in another Go The Distance

Day.  If you did not get a slip to chose which activity you would like to participate in, please stop by the office and pick one up.


Commencement Invitations:  Seniors, there are extra commencement invitations from the Herff Jones Company available at the office for $1.25.

Library Volunteer:  Attention High School Students, the Sumner Public Library is looking for volunteers
in their "On You Mark, Get Set, Read" program this summer in various areas.  If you would like to volunteer,
stop by the office or the library and pick up a form. Please return the filled out form to the Sumner Public Library on or before May 31, 2106.


Author, Sara Prineas, coming to Upham Memorial Library:
Sara Prineas, author of Ash & Bramble, The Magic Thief, and Moonkind as well as other books,
will be
visiting the Upham Memorial Library in Fredericksburg on Friday, May 13th at 5:30 p.m. 

Everyone is invited to this free event to meet this fantasy author.   Save the date!

Miss Sumner Contest Application:  High School girls interested in running for Miss Sumner in July,

please stop by the office and pick up an application.  Please keep in mind that applicants must be at
least 16 years of age and not more than 19, have a Sumner address and be actively enrolled in school. 
If interested, please stop by the office and pick up an application.  Applications are due by June 1st,
later than 4:00 p.m. to the address listed on the application.
